Concerts held at Catalina High School in Tucson. Concert featuring performances by both individual groups, a Saxophone Concerto written by William Campbell for Michael Hester, and Open Rail for the group plus orchestra.

Sonoran Consort and the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra

Concerts held at Berger Performance Center in Tucson. Concert featuring solo performances by both individual groups, and a new composition for the group plus orchestra, Creatrix by William Campbell.

Played original works as an ensemble, and "Tapestry V" and"Crow Wing" by James DeMars (with Topu Lio, cello, and R.Carlos Nakai, Native American Flute.)

TV appearance on "Arizona Illustrated": Michael Hester and Sonoran Consort are featured on Local PBS affiliate KUAT in their local news show. The story was a 7 minute feature on Michael and his endeavors. Much of the time was spent on the Consort. Michael, Bill and Todd were all featured playing and teaching.
